FUSION: Hubcap Art designed by local artists will be displayed in the Village of Warwick storefront windows and in the Rail Road Green Gardens during the seven-day Warwick Summer Arts Festival, July 19 –26, 2015.
Artists were given hubcaps that were donated by Specht’s Auto Recycling and asked to create something inspired by this years Summer Arts Festival theme Fusion: two or more things come together into one.
People have looked to the arts to help define their communities and create a sense of place for generations. Culture creates community.
Mission of the Warwick Summer Arts Festival:
We look to present original work that is both challenging and inspiring. Our mission is to bring the arts out to every part of the community: the parks, the storefronts, and the farms. We enjoy collaborating with local, national, and global artists to create site specific works as well as main stage performances Through our program of master classes and community workshops, in addition to presenting work in several locations, we reach audiences of all ages.
