Materials: acrylic paint, ceramic pieces from a friend's yard sale, an old paint brush, and thoughts of Haiti.
Bio: Linda Mensch choreographer and dancer,jewelry maker,and art maker. Linda is the artistic director /teacher of the Moving Company Modern Dance Center at Vastu. Celebrating 19 years! In the summer The moving Co. takes on Front Porch Arts for Kids 8 and up in the Village of Warwick. her jewelry can be found at Newhard's in Warwick, Whole Foods in Ridgewood, NJ, and Paramus NJ among other stores. Linda has created her second dance film that will be shown at Seligmann center as part of this years arts festival.
Why participate? I love these projects when all who want to participate get the same "canvas" and have to upcycle. It is playful and another reason to love Warwick and the folks who live here.
