Title: ” Tobe" 

 

Materials: Acrylic on metal.

 

My statement:  My dog, Tobe, is a rescue dog and we are fused. He is VERY attached to me (and I to him,)  Dog lovers will identify with this kind of fusion. 

 

I wanted to participate in this project because I love the challenge of new materials, I love the Summer Arts Festival and I love being part ofthe art scene in Warwick.

Short Artist Bio:  Daughter of an artist - always had art in my life, making it or learning about it. Studied art in Paris and New York and have exhibited at various libraries in the Hudson Valley and other venues. I started out as a fabric artist and now I am a painter, mostly in Acrylic. 
A painting of mine was purchased by the Chinese government and shown at their Olympic Art Pavilion in London in 2012. I love making art and teaching others to enjoy the pleasure of watercolor painting, which I do in my studio and at libraries and other locations.
