Artist Statement: This piece of art reflects both my passion for art and passion for living a healthy life. The inspiration came from something as simple as a seemingly unimportant and inanimate object; a hub cap. A hub cap is a form of protection for a car, healthy living has been a protection for myself as well. Both seemingly unimportant and forgettable, they are necessary for the existence of their whole. This collage embodies what is important in my life; Art, as well as living healthfully. Both inspire me in my everyday life.
